Double LL Farms has been going strong, producing quality race horses since 1991. The first year WL Mooring was in business, his breeding operation bred 98 mares.

At about 120 acres, Double LL Farms, consists of two locations- the south farm, where most of the breeding and foaling happens, and the north farm, where sales prep is the main focus. The farm has a veterinarian, medical crew and foaling crew that provide care and service 24/7.

The core business is breeding. Either on site or by shipped semen.

Bringing the next generation of high performance horses into the world is a 24/7 commitment. At 78 years old, WL and Dee, his wife of 23 years, has a plan to hand off the responsibility to the next generation of humans, his wife's daughter Nicole, and farm foreman Jaime Cervantes.

For the team at Double LL Farms, the farm isn't just a business, it's a way of life.
